1,000 sets of PPEs were sent over to UERM to refill supplies for their medical team.

Being one of the pioneers in the fashion retail business, Kamiseta made colouful and quality PPEs and made sure that these are at par with the standard requirements of medical institutions. "We supplied them with Kamiseta's own fabricated PPEs made from repellent fabric that was approved by the hospital itself." Ms Cris shared in an interview with DZRH Manila how the company was able to pull off the planning, fabrication and distribution of the PPEs within such a short period of time.

We need to protect our doctors and nurses so they can save more lives.

These PPEs are badly needed by hospitals especially by the doctors and nurses personally handling patients with the contagious COVID-19 virus. Having a sister who is also a doctor, Ms. Cris empathized with our front liners; battling the pandemic head on while experiencing scarcity when it comes to protective supplies. She believes that our doctors must receive protection first and foremost because as more patients flock into hospitals, the risk of them getting exposed to the virus also increases by the day.
